The league is making the following changes for this year only. As these are unprecedented times and things are fluid, I appreciate your understanding and flexibility. It is entirely possible additional changes get announced due to the nature of this unprecedented time.
1) There will be no playoffs. The 2020 winner will be based on straight rotisserie and based off the combined standings in fantrax, I.e. rotisserie earned against the entire league.
2) The trade deadline will be September 6th at 11:59pm Eastern.
3) Any player that misses the “entire” 2020 season due to opt out or Covid related reasons, is eligible to renew their 2020 salary for 2021. Some examples: Player A: 20: 15m can be renewed for 21 at 15m instead of electing free agency. Alternatively, you may elect free agency Player B: 20: 5m, 21: 7m, 22: 10m can be renewed at 21: 5m, 22: 7m, and 23: 10m. Alternatively, you can elect to keep just the remainder of the years and contract and not extend. Player C: PP2023 would become PP2024 - already by rule when no IP or AB occurs
4) A 50% 2020-only cap relief will be applied to all players missing the “entire” season due to opt out or Covid. This applies regardless of the decision to extend contract.
5) There will be no in season signing bonus bidding of any kind. Only players who are TSS free agents with 50/150+ accrual. will be eligible for weekly bidding.

Where do we post our opt outs so we can get the 50% cap back for 2020?

Where do we post our opt outs so we can get the 50% cap back for 2020? To be clear, it’s only for players who chose to opt out of the season. I’ll create a Covid posting page

Is there a deadline for waivers? Buyouts? Free Agency?

Is there a deadline for waivers? Buyouts? Free Agency? No deadline this year for waivers, buyout, or free agency.

So I can buyout Kimbrel on the last day of the season and not be on the hook for anything in 2021?
