in a few leagues, first time drafting in a dynasty league, looking forward to finally building my own team instead of inheriting one. And also curious to see how it plays out. I looked over the initial drafts in some of the other leagues, but it looks like those had separate drafts for majors and minors, should be fun

We have done two startup league initial deep drafts, though only of those one was a combined Majors and Minors draft. Also managed a 17-team initial dynasty draft, but selecting minors was also done in a secondary draft.
Combining the two, plus allowing trades during the draft, will dramatically alter the process and the outcome. Looks like a prolonged draft -- difficult to manage and stay abreast of.
Not completely convinced combining the two is the best course. Drafting MLB players first and separately would give GMs a better sense of how to draft their minors. Though no matter how the draft was handled, either process would be interesting and lengthy.

Also 4th. Probably the same ones - Ruth, DGM & Allstar for 30 teamers.
Loads of other 30 teamers but all before 2013 were inherited the real life roster leagues.
I'm terrible at these drafts. It always takes me about a year to course correct after I've completely screwed myself in the draft.
